IT Manager – Infrastructure & Services
Location: Home-based (UK)
Travel: Approximately 2 UK trips per year
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with operational ownership.
Reporting to the IT Director, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of our cloud-first IT environment, ensuring colleagues across the business receive an outstanding IT service while continually improving our infrastructure, security and systems.
You'll be as comfortable troubleshooting complex technical issues as you are implementing new technologies, improving processes and working with third-party suppliers.
This is a genuinely hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for:
Managing and maintaining our Microsoft 365, Azure and cloud infrastructure
Administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint and endpoint management
Providing responsive technical support and resolving complex user issues
Strengthening our cybersecurity posture through practical security controls and best practice
Managing device lifecycle, user access, patching, backups and business continuity activities
Working with third-party IT providers to ensure excellent service delivery
Identifying opportunities to improve resilience, automate processes and enhance the user experience
Supporting infrastructure projects, upgrades and service improvements
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership and thrives in a collaborative environment.
We're looking for someone with:
Strong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
Experience administering Entra ID, endpoint management and collaboration platforms
Excellent troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, devices and user support
Good knowledge of IT service management, patching, backups and change control
Practical understanding of cybersecurity and operational risk
Experience working with third-party suppliers and managed service providers
The ability to prioritise competing demands while delivering an excellent service
Experience with Dynamics 365, SharePoint and other SaaS business platforms would be advantageous, as would Microsoft, Azure, ITIL or cybersecurity certifications.
