About the role
Insight Health is seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to build and maintain intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for our healthcare applications. You will be a key contributor to our mission of improving healthcare outcomes through technology.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript.
Build reusable components and frontend libraries for future use.
Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code.
Optimize components for maximum performance across various devices and browsers.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
7+ years of proven experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and CSS.
Experience with modern frontend development tools like Vite, Storybook, and Emotion.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms (e.g., JSON Web Token).
Experience with real-time communication technologies like WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE), and Long Polling.
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
Strong understanding of backend technologies.
Familiarity with AI engineering.
High agency and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Bonus Points:
Experience with Ant Design.
Experience with data visualization libraries.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Contributions to open-source projects.
