Responsibilities:Executive Reporting: Report to the CEO and act as a strategic advisor within a high impact, fast-growth environment.
New Business Development: Drive new client acquisition by promoting Vitalief’s consulting and FSP services—plus future technology solutions.
Client Engagement: Cultivate executive-level relationships with sponsors, CROs, and research sites to establish trusted partnerships.
Sales Team Leadership: Build, lead and mentor the business development team, drive accountability, manage pipelines, and achieve revenue; operating in a lead by example management style.
Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute detailed account plans and growth strategies to exceed sales targets.
Solution Selling: Collaborate cross-functionally to craft tailored offerings that address client challenges and deliver measurable impact.
Proposal Management: Lead the development of compelling proposals, SOWs, and presentations. Negotiate pricing and contract terms with confidence.
Industry Visibility: Represent Vitalief at conferences and networking events to increase brand awareness and generate qualified leads.

Required Skills:Minimum 10 years of business development experience with a primary focus on selling in the healthcare or life sciences domain.
Proven track record of solution-based consulting services or professional services selling in the clinical research industry.
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated success negotiating MSAs and growing business with existing clients.
Experience in an FSP sales model is highly preferred.
Strong executive presence with excellent communication and consultative selling skills.
Expertise in proposal development and cross-functional collaboration.
Experienced in leading sales teams with a motivational, hands-on approach.
Highly skilled in managing robust sales pipelines and achieving/exceeding revenue goals.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, growth-focused approach.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and experience with CRM tools (i.e., HubSpot, Salesforce).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Standing, walking, visual perception, talking and hearing. Lifting up to 20lbs., and occasional U.S. travel.
