🤓 Your role

You'll work at the intersection of investments, financial operations and product development. Based on your insights from end-to-end transaction support and your finance acumen you will build the technical and data infrastructure by leveraging automation and AI to scale our financial operations and build an AI-native finance operating system.

Working as part of the Product & Tech team, you identify, design, build and iterate on the workflows, automations and AI-driven tools that run our financial operations - moving the team towards a scalable, technology-first and AI-enabled operating model.

To succeed in this role you will take ownership of the following tasks:

Transaction support – enhance and maintain existing models for transactions, including cap table and waterfall modeling (e.g. pro-rata, follow-on, exit scenarios), in close collaboration with our investment teams to ensure scalable transaction support.

Fund and group accounting infrastructure – design the reconciliation logic and data pipelines for capital calls, distributions and both fund- and group-level cash flows, using existing accounting platforms (such as Quantium for funds) and working with external fund administrators to keep source data clean and automatable.

Portfolio data and valuation systems – maintain the architecture behind our own "single source of truth" for portfolio company reporting and develop it further towards an audit-proof solution also for valuations, including calibration and backtesting logic.

LP reporting automation – design templates and workflows for quarterly/annual investor reports, capital call and distribution notices, and ad hoc LP requests, reducing manual drafting over time.

Audit and tax reporting workflows – build the coordination process and tooling that connects investors, auditors and tax advisors.

Regulatory and compliance automation – build repeatable processes and tooling for regulatory reporting obligations across our fund entities.

Qualifikation

🧩 Your profile

Your background combines business and engineering - whether through a degree in Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik), Finance (with tech focus), Computer/Data Science, or a related field.

1-2 years of relevant experience in building finance automation, transaction management or fund finance/accounting, e.g. at a VC/PE fund, another investment company, Big 4 firm, or a scale-up’s finance/ops team.

You are a detail-oriented perfectionist with the ability to multitask, prioritize and execute projects diligently. You naturally identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate complex operational processes.

You are genuinely tech-savvy with strong Excel/financial modeling skills while combining strong SQL/database fundamentals with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Codex or Cursor) to rapidly prototype and deploy scalable solutions; experience with fund administration or portfolio management tools is a plus.

You have a structured, analytical and hands-on working style, and feel comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

You are a team player with a strong work ethic, humility, can-do attitude, and a collaborative mindset.

You are fluent in spoken and written German and English.
