Responsibilities

Work with a wide range of systems, processes and technologies to own and solve problems from end-to-end. 

Craft new products and features that impact millions of people and businesses around the world. Explore creative opportunities for next-gen payments experiences that leverage the depth of Stripe's payment technology. 

Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as product, design, infrastructure, marketing, and operations. 

Develop and execute against both short- and long-term roadmaps. 

Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation. 

Uphold our high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter.

Who you are

Minimum requirements

Must have a Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in software development.

Must also have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

Programming Languages Ruby and Java.

Javascript or Typescript.

Designing, building, and maintaining robust, versioned RESTful or GraphQL APIs that support both internal and external consumers.

Working with NoSQL databases including Mongo.

Automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, to uphold high engineering standards and code quality.

Development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of software products and features.

Salary: $161,637 - $213,800.00 /yr.

This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.

40 hrs/week

100% Telecommuting permitted.

Multiple positions available.
