About the role

As part of the Platform tribe, you will help build a self-service, AI-Ready Data Platform. The Data Platform team supports our next big bets: Data, AI, and real-time analytics. We are a team focused on building scalable, reliable infrastructure to enable our global data community.

What you'll do

Build and maintain best-in-class data infrastructure for critical processes.

Develop features that strengthen self-service, including for ETL and orchestration.

Optimise processes to use compute more efficiently and reduce cost.

Automate operations so the platform stays highly available.

Contribute to the design and implementation of new services.

You'll be a strong fit if you

Have experience with infrastructure as code and containerisation (e.g. Terraform, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes).

Have used modern query engines (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Trino).

Have worked with modern data orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Dagster).

Are proficient in at least one of our main languages: Python or Go.

Bring a pragmatic, team-first mindset.

Are self-motivated, work well independently, and can balance stakeholder needs.

Nice to have 

Experience building and operating performant API layers.

Experience with dbt for transform, test, and documentation workflows.

Query optimization at scale.

Real-time streaming (e.g. Kafka, Flink, StarRocks, Pinot, Druid, ClickHouse).

Experience with systems at petabyte scale.

Experience implementing AI-enabled systems (e.g. agentic SRE, AI automation).
