About the RoleThe Senior Solution Consultant as a fully proficient professional will be responsible for understandingKinaxis customers’ most pressing business performance challenges and will be committed to helping ourcustomers solve complex issues in their supply chain management practice. The incumbent will work with new and existing customers and will provide expert guidance in integrating our product offerings so that our customers can start to experience the immediate value of Kinaxis solutions.The incumbent will act as a functional lead on projects by providing consulting services and leadershipduring deployment of RapidResponse supply chain software and leverage advanced knowledge of theproduct and supply chain industry trends and best practices to achieve desired outcomes
Key Responsibilities• Independently lead business requirements discovery sessions for implementations of advancedcomplexity, multi-phase workstreams and broad scope.• Partner with Solution Architect in the process design and technical direction of complexconfigurations.• Execute product configurations of advanced complexity, according to customer needs andapproved solution architecture.• Act as the first level of escalation and oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of complexconfiguration issues for the project team.• Apply advanced mathematical models, optimization techniques and artificial intelligencealgorithms to complex supply chain planning scenarios to improve customer supply chainperformance and achieve business objectives.• Execute the validation and testing of the solution, capture user feedback and developrecommendations for escalations, roadblocks, and documentation.• Independently lead complex deployment workshops with a focus on training and guidingcustomers on how the solution was configured and how to achieve immediate value from theirinvestment.• Provide technical leadership and recommendations to the Associate, Entry and IntermediateSolution Consultants during project milestones and critical deployment escalations.• Guide and mentor more junior consultants throughout the project lifecycle
Primary Skills and Qualifications• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research,Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.• 5 + years of in-depth experience in software implementation or deployment within the supplychain planning or supply chain execution space or business experience in supply planning,demand planning, inventory management, manufacturing.• 2 to 3 years’ experience in a functional leadership capacity for system configuration or systemdeployments.• 2 to 3 years’ experience in business process design for supply chain software implementations.• Passion for working in customer-facing roles and able to demonstrate strong interpersonal,communication facilitation and presentation skills.• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills, able to synthesize a high volume of complexinformation to determine best course of action.• Self-starter who shows initiative in their work and learning and can excel in a fast-paced workenvironment.• Proven leadership skills within a team as well as a successful track record with customers andexecutive sponsors.• Ability to work in a collaborative matrixed environment with multiple team members.• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.Role Specific Skills and experience• Advanced level knowledge and hands-on application of supply chain best practices and conceptsas it relates to forecasting, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), Constraint Management, andProduction Scheduling.• Ability to lead complex business requirements gathering sessions with customers and systemend users.• Experience working with supply chain processes and manufacturing planning solutions such asRapidResponse, SAP, Oracle or Blue Yonder applications to support supply chain activities.• Proficiency in SQL, R and/or Java Script.• Open to travel 75% on average and 100% occasionally and can work effectively when workingremotely from client sites.
