The EHS Compliance Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) administrative functions and ensuring accurate entry and maintenance of safety-related documentation within Ferrellgas systems. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to complete assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
Provides administrative support and coordination for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across field operations to ensure consistency and compliance.
Administers and maintains administration of the EHS management system by entering, maintaining, and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company and regulatory requirements.
Prepares, formats, maintains, and distributes EHS materials and resources for field personnel.
Assists with reporting and data analysis by generating routine and ad hoc reports, identifying trends, and providing information to support leadership decision-making.
Coordinates with teams to support timely completion of safety initiatives, compliance activities, and continuous improvement efforts.
Reviews Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) for all new hire candidates and evaluates Safety Performance History reports for prior DOT-regulated employment; communicates findings and recommendations to Field Management.
Manages ongoing compliance for DOT-regulated employees, including MVR reviews, medical certification tracking, and timely follow-up on expirations or issues.
Maintains confidential employee and safety records while ensuring the integrity and security of sensitive information.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. 2+ year(s) of experience in propane operations, safety, compliance, transportation, or a related operational environment is preferred.
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load.
Ability to adjust and adapt to changes in work flow.
Ability to identify problems and present solutions.
Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Strong trend analysis skills.
Strong safety ethic.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States
