About the Role
We're looking for a Lead UI/UX Designer to own and elevate the end-to-end customer experience across our direct-to-consumer eCommerce ecosystem. This role combines strategic thinking, user-centered design, conversion optimization, and visual excellence to create seamless shopping experiences that drive business growth.
You'll work closely with leadership, marketing, developers, and eCommerce teams to transform customer insights into intuitive, high-performing digital experiences. We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of outcomes, and is passionate about creating exceptional customer journeys.
What You'll Do
User Experience & Product Design

Lead the design of customer journeys across web, mobile, landing pages, checkout flows, and post-purchase experiences.

Conduct UX research and analyze customer behavior to identify friction points and opportunities.

Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

Continuously improve site usability, accessibility, and customer satisfaction.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

Design experiences that improve engagement, conversion rates, average order value, and retention.

Collaborate with growth and marketing teams to develop and test new landing pages, offers, and funnels.

Use analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, and A/B testing insights to guide design decisions.

Balance creativity with measurable business outcomes.

Design Systems & Brand Experience

Develop and maintain scalable design systems and UI component libraries.

Ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints while evolving the brand experience.

Establish design standards, workflows, and best practices for the team.

Advocate for high-quality visual design and user experience across the organization.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Partner with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.

Collaborate with marketers, copywriters, and eCommerce managers to launch campaigns and site improvements.

Mentor and provide feedback to designers and creative team members.

Drive projects from concept through execution with minimal supervision.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

5+ years of UI/UX design experience, preferably in DTC eCommerce, consumer brands, or high-growth startups.

Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UX thinking and visual design.

Proven experience improving conversion rates and customer experiences through design.

Expertise in Figma and modern design workflows.

Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and usability principles.

Experience collaborating closely with developers and product teams.

Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.

Familiarity with A/B testing tools and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar tools.

Experience designing subscription, retention, or loyalty program experiences.

Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development constraints.
