About the role
eCarsTradeis an online remarketing platform for used cars. We primarily purchase cars from leasing companies and sell them to small and medium-sized car dealers across Europe. The company is experiencing very healthy growth, and to support this, we are looking for an Accountant.Responsibilities
You will be responsible for booking purchase and sales invoices, customer deposits, and credit notes;
Preparingand following up on payments is part of your extensive range of duties;
You are in contact with suppliersensuring efficient follow-up.
You manage customer and supplier balances.
You handle the booking of financial and payroll transactions.
You provide support with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks such as payroll, inventory, reporting, monthly closing, etc.
You are able to independently optimize and automate accounting processes;
Experience with calculating inventory valueat month-end closing is a major plus.
Requirements
Associate Degree in Accountancy or equivalent through previous work experience;
You are socially oriented and have strong communication skills;
A pleasant and collegial working atmosphereis of great importance to you;
You can work independently and have a proactivework ethic, but enjoy working as part of a team;
You work correctly, punctually, and accurately;
5 years of experience in a similar role is a major asset;
