Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and ship features that deliver real value to healthcare professionals and patients

Design and implement robust technical solutions ensuring performance, security, and usability across our back-end applications

Contribute to technical decisions and architectural choices — not just implementation — helping shape the long-term direction of the platform

Navigate integration complexity across a broad and diverse partner ecosystem, balancing delivery speed, reliability, and maintainability

Champion AI-assisted development workflows and help elevate your team's proficiency with these tools

Share your expertise across teams to evolve Doctolib's architecture and technical standards through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and pair programming

Who you are

Before you read on: if you don't have the exact profile described below, but you feel this job description matches your skill set, we still encourage you to apply.

You'll be a great fit if you:

Have strong back-end software engineering experience with the JVM ecosystem (Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot)

Have hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools and are comfortable integrating them into your daily workflow

Have significant experience navigating integration complexity across large partner networks and diverse legacy systems

Have a "user first" mindset and are committed to building secure, well-tested, and pragmatic code — you bring a strong testing culture and care deeply about code quality and system resiliency

Are proactive, curious, and eager to grow alongside your teammates through pair programming and cross-team collaboration

Are fluent in English

It would be fantastic if you:

Have experience with Ruby on Rails

Have contributed to large-scale platform architecture discussions or technical roadmap planning
