About the role

As a Design Engineer you intersect Design and Engineering. You'll shape the quality and consistency of our product experience. You'll work across interaction design, component systems, implementation and frontend development, ensuring every detail feels intuitive, polished and cohesive. Working closely with product, design and engineering, you'll turn ideas into thoughtful user experiences while contributing production-ready code to bring them to life.

What You'll Do
Design and refine polished user interfaces, paying close attention to interaction details and usability.

Create thoughtful experiences for UI components that are reusable by the team and AI-Agents.

Think beyond individual screens by designing systems and patterns that scale across the entire product.

Build, evolve and maintain a robust component library and design system that enables consistency and speed whilst ensuring maintainability and scalability.

Ensure UI and UX consistency across the product while continuously improving existing experiences.

Help our designer to quickly iterate and test out ideas and bring your own additions to them

What We're Looking For
Someone who is comfortable taking their designs all the way through implementation and into the live product.

Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks, preferably React/Next

Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture and UX principles.

Experience designing complex application interfaces rather than primarily marketing Websites.

Strong knowledge of component-based design systems and reusable UI patterns both for AI and Human development .

Ability to think in systems instead of isolated screens or flows.

High attention to detail, especially around states, edge cases, and micro-interactions.

Ability to deliver quality code in a fast-moving product environment.

You'll Thrive Here If You...
Notice inconsistencies that others miss.

Enjoy obsessing over interaction details as much as solving larger UX problems.

Like thinking about how today's decisions affect the product years from now.

Prefer building coherent systems over one-off solutions.

Enjoy working across design and engineering instead of staying within one discipline.
