About the role

About us:
Saltz is an online food marketplace serving restaurants across multiple European markets. We help chefs and restaurants discover and source products from trusted local and international suppliers.

At Saltz, we believe the best ingredients should be accessible through one seamless marketplace experience. Restaurants purchase directly from Saltz and are fully supported across sales, logistics, customer support, account management, and claims handling. Through our catalogue and platform, we provide visibility into sourcing origins and product information, helping chefs make informed purchasing decisions and discover trusted suppliers worldwide.
We recently closed a €20M Series A backed by leading European venture funds. Our vision is to build the modern infrastructure layer for foodservice commerce - building the new standard for how the world sources food.

About the role:

You will plan your weekly schedule (with guidance when needed) and work towards hitting or exceeding targets

You’ll show chefs a demo of our application, in their own environment, how Saltz makes ordering simple and reliable

You’ll use our CRM (don't worry, we’ll teach you!) and other tools to keep notes on your progress so the whole team can support you

Whether you’ve run a kitchen, managed a bar, or worked as a concierge, you understand the fast-paced world of gastronomy. Career changers are welcomed! If you’ve done sales internships or part-time customer roles, that’s a huge plus too

You’re energized by being out in the field, walking into kitchens, and building face-to-face relationships with chefs and managers

Very good oral and written German and English skills

You’re comfortable leading a conversation. You know how to listen, solve problems, and confidently seal the deal

Bonus: You speak other languages fluently in addition to German or English

What you get:

OTE 48.000€ - 52.000€+ and it is uncapped, so your earnings grow with your performance. Base: 36.000€ - 40.000€

30 days of paid time off - because recharging is part of performing at your best

The hardware you need to get started

A company card to cover commuting costs (€200 per month)

Autonomy and trust to manage your own workflow

Work with and be supported by mature, intelligent, entrepreneurial and fun people who are leading experts in their fields, driven by their passion for the industry
