Position Summary
SRS Acquiom is looking for an Engineering Manager who can lead people and code with equal confidence. This role owns the success of both the product and the team behind it — balancing hands-on technical leadership with the day-to-day realities of managing, coaching, and growing a high-performing engineering team.
You'll partner closely with Product to keep priorities aligned, drive quality practices across the team, and stay active in the codebase so you can lead by example, not just by title. If you enjoy solving hard technical problems just as much as helping engineers solve their own career puzzles, this role was built for you.
Location: This position is either hybrid out of our Denver, CO office or a fully remote position from within the Continental United States.
If the candidate selected lives within a 20-mile radius of our downtown Denver office, they will be classified as a hybrid employee and beginning September 8, 2026, working one day per week in office is expected. Beginning January 1, 2027, two days per week in office will be expected.
If the candidate selected lives outside a 20-mile radius the Denver office, they will be classified as a fully remote employee and in-person onsite visits to the Denver headquarters will be required on average three times per year.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $153k - $170k, depending on level of experience.

Partner with the Product Owner/Manager to ensure alignment between Product and Engineering
Contribute effectively to the code base across the full stack and lead by example
Coach others to ensure high quality and efficient delivery of business value

Evaluate the team to provide direct guidance on performance and potential
Provide technical leadership throughmentorship, coaching and assistance
Lead continuous improvement of Engineering practices
Align team decisions with Enterprise Architecture Principals and Department goals

Required Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of experience as a full stack Software Engineer
3+ years of managerial experience
Experience designing robust and scalable solutions
Experience with unit testing and integration testing
Experience with modern cloud native development (Docker, Kubernetes, Knative)
Experience leading collaborative softwaredesign sessions
Experience leading continuous improvement of Engineering practices
Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies
Expertise with version control systems
Expertise with distributed architecture and microservices
Experience in web-based application development
Strong understanding of SOLID principals, design patterns
Strong experience using database technologies and patterns
