About the role

The Opportunity
AI is fundamentally changing how enterprises operate.
As AI agents become capable of executing increasingly complex workflows, enterprise buying decisions are becoming increasingly technical. Customers don't just want to hear what's possible—they want to see it working.
At Lio, we're building THE AI workforce for procurement.
As a Soltion Architect, you're not just supporting sales.
You're helping some of the world's largest enterprises gain the technical confidence to adopt AI. You'll build prototypes, lead technical workshops, solve customer challenges, and work side-by-side with our Account Executives to turn complex enterprise opportunities into successful deals.

What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Own the technical strategy of enterprise opportunities from first conversation to signed deal

Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and product evaluations with DAX companies and Fortune 500 customers

Build prototypes, proof of concepts, and custom extensions that demonstrate measurable business value

Design scalable solutions that integrate Lio into complex enterprise environments

Build trusted relationships with procurement leaders, IT teams, architects, and C-level stakeholders

Work closely with Product and Engineering to turn customer requirements into scalable platform capabilities

Help shape our enterprise sales strategy by combining technical expertise with commercial thinking

Your Profile
You'll thrive in this role if you:
Enjoy combining technology and customer interaction. You like building software just as much as presenting it to customers.

Have experience with APIs, SaaS platforms, cloud environments, or software development. You don't need to be a full-time engineer, but you're comfortable building and adapting technical solutions.

Take ownership. You enjoy influencing enterprise buying decisions and helping close complex technical deals.

Communicate confidently. Whether you're speaking with engineers, architects, procurement teams, or C-level executives, you know how to explain complex technology with clarity.

Thrive in fast-moving environments. You enjoy solving new challenges, learning quickly, and working across Sales, Product, and Engineering.

Are curious about AI and excited about helping enterprises adopt a new generation of software.

What's not required
You don't need experience in procurement or deep knowledge of ERP systems.
We're much more interested in technical curiosity, customer empathy, ownership, and your ability to solve complex problems than in having the perfect CV.

Why Join Lio?
Lio is backed by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and built at Y Combinator. We're bringing Silicon Valley ambition and speed to Munich while building one of Europe's leading AI companies.
From day one, you'll work on strategic enterprise opportunities with Fortune 500 companies across Europe and the US. You'll help shape how AI is adopted inside global enterprises while working closely with Account Executives, Product, Engineering, and our founders.
If you're excited about combining software, enterprise sales, and AI to help win category-defining customers, we'd love to hear from you.
