This role is responsible for identifying high-potential prospects, building targeted lead lists, executing personalized outreach campaigns, and nurturing relationships until opportunities are ready to engage.
Success in this role isn't about sending the highest volume of emails — it's about building genuine relationships, delivering thoughtful outreach, and consistently booking qualified meetings. The ideal candidate has experience selling agency or professional services, understands the nuances of outbound prospecting, and is comfortable testing new outreach strategies to continuously improve performance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Prospect Research & Lead Generation

Research and identify high-potential prospects across a variety of growth stages

Build and maintain targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn, industry publications, databases, and market research

Monitor buying signals such as fundraising announcements, product launches, and retail expansions to identify new opportunities

Continuously refine lead lists to ensure a healthy and qualified sales pipeline

2. Outbound Sales & Relationship Building

Execute personalized outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and where relevant, cold calling

Craft thoughtful, relevant messaging tailored to each prospect rather than relying on generic templates

Manage follow-up sequences and nurture prospects over time

Test new messaging approaches and outreach strategies to improve campaign performance

Book qualified discovery meetings for the leadership team

3. CRM & Pipeline Management

Maintain accurate records within HubSpot, including contact information, outreach history, and pipeline stages

Track prospect engagement, follow-up activities, and meeting outcomes

Ensure all sales activities are documented and opportunities remain organized and up to date

Report on outreach performance, meetings booked, and pipeline activity

4. Continuous Improvement

Share learnings and recommendations to improve outbound strategy and campaign performance

Leverage AI tools and sales technology to improve efficiency, research, and outreach quality

Collaborate with leadership to refine messaging, targeting, and sales processes as the business grows

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: Minimum 2 years in a BDR, SDR, or similar outbound sales role; experience selling services within an agency environment is essential

Outreach: Proven experience generating qualified meetings through outbound prospecting

Communication: Strong written and verbal English communication skills with excellent copywriting and relationship-building abilities

CRM: Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
