About the role

About Passionfroot
Creator-led growth is one of the fastest-growing channels in B2B—and we’re building the infrastructure behind it.
Passionfroot is the leading platform where modern companies scale creator-led growth, and where top creators manage and monetize brand partnerships.
Our customers include some of the most ambitious, fastest-moving companies in the world—Replit, HubSpot, Figma, Cursor, Gamma, Attio, Intercom, and ElevenLabs. We help them run high-impact creator programs across LinkedIn, YouTube, newsletters, and more.
We're growing 13x in revenue year over year, profitable, and just closed our Series A round! We are backed by leading investors including Insight Partners, Creandum, Supernode and founders and operators from Cursor, Anthropic, n8n and more. We're expanding fast across New York, Europe, and Brazil - and we're just getting started.
We’re still a small team, which means the people who join now will have an outsized influence on the product, the engineering culture, and the company we become.

About the role
We’re looking for a Senior or Staff Product Engineer to help build the next generation of Passionfroot.
You’ll work across the full stack on both our core platform and Zest, our AI Campaign Manager for creator marketing. That could mean designing a new workflow for managing creator campaigns, making collaboration data feel instant, or turning models, search, and product context into a reliable AI experience that customers can trust.
We don’t separate “AI engineering” from “product engineering.” AI is becoming part of how the product works, but great product fundamentals still matter: understanding the user, shaping the problem, choosing the right architecture, building a thoughtful experience, and operating it reliably in production.
You’ll work closely with the founders, design, and customers to take important problems from early exploration to shipped product.
We’re a team of six engineers, and staying small is deliberate. It means you can have an idea on Monday and have customers using it by Thursday—without layers of sprint ceremonies or alignment meetings in between. The flip side is real ownership: you need to exercise strong judgment, communicate your decisions, and think through their consequences rather than wait for someone else to catch them.

What you’ll do
Own meaningful product areas from problem definition through architecture, implementation, launch, and iteration.

Build customer-facing features across our marketplace, campaign management, collaboration, payments, analytics, and creator workflows.

Help make Zest an indispensable part of how modern companies run creator-led growth.

Turn foundation models into structured, reliable product experiences—not just impressive prototypes.

Work on intelligent workflows involving agents, tools, retrieval, search, recommendations, and generated interfaces.

Develop the evaluations, observability, and feedback loops needed to understand whether AI features are genuinely useful.

Work closely with design to create experiences that are fast, intuitive, and polished.

Talk directly with customers and translate ambiguous needs into simple product decisions.

Make pragmatic architectural choices that balance speed, quality, maintainability, and performance.

Improve the systems and engineering practices that help a small team ship reliably at high velocity.

At Staff level, provide technical direction across projects, raise the engineering bar, and help other engineers make better decisions.

What we’re looking for
Significant experience building and shipping high-quality, customer-facing software. 5+ years is a useful guide, but the scope and quality of your work matter more than the number.

Strong TypeScript and React fundamentals, with experience working across the full stack.

A track record of independently driving complex features or products from an ambiguous starting point to measurable customer impact. When you encounter a blocker, you investigate, communicate, and find another path forward without waiting to be managed.

Strong product and technical judgment. You care about what should be built, how it should feel, and whether it actually solves the problem. You can distinguish between problems that need a sophisticated system and problems that need a simple, well-executed solution.

Experience building with LLMs or other applied AI systems in production.

An understanding of the challenges behind reliable AI products: evaluation, context, retrieval, model behavior, latency, cost, observability, and failure modes.

Clear, proactive communication and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

Care for software craftsmanship without losing sight of momentum and customer outcomes.

Our technology
Passionfroot is built primarily in TypeScript across the full stack.
Our core product uses React, Remix, PostgreSQL, Prisma, and Zero sync for real-time product experiences. Our AI systems use foundation models from multiple providers alongside the AI SDK, Typesense, and Laminar for search, agent workflows, evaluations, and observability.
You don’t need experience with everything we use. We care more about strong fundamentals, relevant product experience, and your ability to learn quickly.

What success looks like
Within your first months, you will have:
Developed a deep understanding of creator-led growth and the problems our customers face.

Taken ownership of a major product or technical area with limited oversight.

Improved how we build, evaluate, and operate AI-powered functionality.

Earned the trust of the team through reliable execution and clear communication.

Helped us make better product and technical decisions beyond your immediate projects.

Our interview process
We want the process to be useful, respectful, and representative of how we actually work. We don’t use take-home challenges or algorithmic whiteboard interviews.
The process typically includes:
A short introductory call.

A conversation with Lorenzo about your experience, ambitions, and the work you are most proud of.

A technical walkthrough of a project you know deeply, focused on the decisions and trade-offs you made.

A collaborative product and technical problem-solving session with members of the team.

A paid work trial based on a realistic problem, which can be completed flexibly around your current commitments.

References and offer.

We aim to complete the process within one to two weeks.

What we offer
Competitive salary and equity in a Series A company.

Remote-first work with the option to work together in Berlin if you are local.

Latest Apple hardware and the tools you need to do your best work.

25 days of paid vacation, plus local public holidays.

Regular team events and off-sites—past destinations include Mallorca, Barcelona, the South of France, Berlin, and the Baltic Sea.
