About the role

Description
Company Overview
CapsLock is a dynamic marketing company providing IT-enabled solutions for large North American partners. We specialize in scalable customer acquisition through data-driven marketing, creative production, and technology innovation.
Our teams collaborate across Marketing, IT, Analytics, CRO, and Media Buying to build, test, and optimize high-performing funnels that help clients achieve predictable growth across industries such as Home Improvement, Health, Legal, and Insurance.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Senior Marketing Strategist who thinks like a strategist, creative person and optimizer—someone who understands customer behavior, identifies growth opportunities, and continuously improves marketing performance through experimentation.
You'll be responsible for developing new funnels, conducting market and competitor research, generating hypotheses, managing A/B testing initiatives, and collaborating closely with Creative, Media Buying, Analytics, and IT teams to deliver measurable business results.
Success in this role means constantly asking "How can we improve conversion?" and using data to find the answer.
Responsibilities

Conduct market, audience, and competitor research for new and existing clients.

Develop new landing page concepts and marketing funnels.

Generate, prioritize, and document CRO hypotheses.

Plan and manage A/B testing roadmaps across multiple clients.

Analyze landing page performance and identify optimization opportunities.

Collaborate with Copywriters, Designers, Video Producers, IT, and Media Buyers throughout the production process.

Review campaign performance and translate data into actionable insights.

Identify winning strategies and scale them across similar clients and industries.

Maintain and expand the company's CRO knowledge base and testing library.

Research new marketing trends, technologies, and customer acquisition strategies.

Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Present recommendations and optimization plans to internal stakeholders.

AI & Experimentation Mindset
You actively use AI to improve research, productivity, and decision-making. Whether it's generating hypotheses, analyzing competitors, organizing knowledge, or accelerating content creation, you view AI as a strategic assistant rather than a replacement for marketing thinking.
We're looking for someone who enjoys experimenting, learning, and continuously improving existing processes.
Requirements
Essential

5+ years of experience in Performance Marketing, CRO, Digital Marketing, or Growth Marketing.

Strong understanding of customer acquisition funnels and landing page optimization.

Experience planning and evaluating A/B tests.

Ability to interpret marketing data and make data-driven decisions.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Exceptional communication skills.

Proficient English language skills.

Experience with AI tools for marketing research and automation.

Nice to Have

Experience in Home Improvement or Lead Generation industries.

Experience working with Meta, Google Ads, Native Advertising, or YouTube.

Knowledge of UX principles and conversion optimization.

Familiarity with Tableau, GA4, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or similar analytics tools.
