About the role
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is the front line of our growth engine. This is more than a traditional SDR role. You'll be responsible for identifying companies building the future of AI, opening conversations with technical and business leaders, and creating qualified opportunities for our Enterprise Business Directors. You'll work alongside experienced sales professionals, solution architects, and marketing to help build pipeline across one of the fastest-growing markets in technology.

Build Pipeline
Prospect into AI startups, enterprise organizations, cloud providers, OEMs, research organizations, and technology companies.
Execute outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, networking, referrals, and industry events.
Research target accounts and identify technical and executive decision makers.
Develop creative prospecting strategies that generate meaningful customer conversations.
Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities using established sales methodologies.
Schedule qualified discovery meetings for Enterprise Sales Directors.
Create Opportunities
Learn customer business challenges and identify opportunities where ECS solutions provide value.
Engage infrastructure leaders, AI engineers, IT executives, architects, and operations teams.
Maintain consistent follow-up through structured prospecting cadences.
Develop early customer relationships that lead to long-term partnerships.
Learn the Business
Develop knowledge of AI infrastructure, GPU servers, enterprise compute, storage, networking, and liquid cooling solutions.
Understand ECS capabilities well enough to communicate our value proposition with confidence.
Stay informed on AI market trends, competitive technologies, and emerging customer needs.
Continuously improve prospecting techniques and messaging.
Own Your Success
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation goals.
Maintain accurate CRM activity, contacts, and opportunity data in Salesforce.
Execute disciplined daily prospecting activity while maintaining high-quality customer interactions.

Essential Education, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2–4 years of Business Development, SDR, BDR, Inside Sales, or technology sales experience.
Proven success generating qualified sales opportunities.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM.
Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, Outreach, or similar prospecting platforms preferred.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience selling technology, infrastructure, SaaS, cloud, servers, networking, storage, cybersecurity, or AI solutions preferred.
Demonstrated desire to build a long-term career in enterprise technology sales.
Self-starter who takes initiative.
Curious about technology and willing to learn rapidly.
Comfortable speaking with executives and technical professionals.
Strong communicator who asks thoughtful questions.
Organized and disciplined in managing daily activities.
Resilient and persistent through rejection.

The total comp for this role will be between $78k and $110k and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location, along with budgeted range of position.
