About the role

Job Overview:

We’re hiring a Pre-Sales Specialist to build and run the outbound engine behind Datakrew’s global growth. You will own a continuous, multi-geography pipeline engine and the qualification discipline that turns what it generates into genuine opportunities, supporting field sales across the UK, Europe, and Southeast Asia as the team grows. This is currently a single position, and the scope is designed to expand as the field sales team expands. You will be the connective tissue between marketing, field sales, customers, and the technical team, keeping a healthy, self-sustaining pipeline running in every market, not just the ones getting hands-on attention this week.
Own the outbound engine that builds Datakrew’s pipeline across the UK, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

What will you own from Day 1

Own and operate the automated, multi-geography cold outbound engine that builds and sustains pipeline continuously across regions, replacing one-to-one manual outreach with a repeatable, always-on system.

Qualify leads into genuine Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) by applying consistent qualification criteria before handing opportunities to field sales.

Partner with the Digital Marketing / Marketing Execution function to keep ownership clean: Marketing owns inbound demand-gen and MQL campaigns; this role owns targeted, account-level outbound and qualification into SQL.

Maintain CRM and outbound-tooling hygiene with accurate, up-to-date activity, account intelligence, and qualification data

Track and report pipeline generation volume, MQL→SQL conversion, and deal velocity across all supported regions.

What this role grows into
As the field sales team expands across regions, the scope of this role expands with it. These become part of the remit as the pipeline engine matures and beds in:

Deep account intelligence (buying-committee mapping, competitive positioning, use-case fit) so field sales can run a consultative, insight-led process rather than a generic pitch

Techno-commercial proposals tailored to client needs, decision criteria, and business objectives

Coordination across customers, field sales, and engineering, with quick-turnaround customisation of proposals and decks as deals progress

Continuous learning of Datakrew’s evolving technology and product offerings

Required skills:

5–7 years in B2B pre-sales, inside sales, or demand generation, including at least 2 years hands-on building and running automated outbound campaigns. SaaS experience is a plus, not a requirement. Experience in EV, automotive, or battery tech is a strong plus.

Depth in multi-channel outbound (email and LinkedIn) using email automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho), covering list building, cadence design, copy testing, and deliverability. This is core to the role, not incidental.

Aptitude for account research and building actionable account intelligence (buying committee, competitive landscape, use-case fit). Depth here can be developed in the role.

Strong qualification discipline, able to apply consistent criteria to convert leads into genuine SQLs rather than pass volume downstream.

Working knowledge of software integration concepts, APIs, and hardware-software integration.

Strong techno-commercial acumen, able to translate technical concepts into business language and vice versa.

Excellent written and verbal English communication, with cultural adaptability across geographies (UK, Europe, Southeast Asia).

Comfort with outbound copywriting and A/B testing of messaging and cadence to improve response rates.

Ability to build repeatable process, this role's remit is designed to grow in scope alongside field sales as the team expands, so process discipline matters as much as individual execution

High ownership, quick learning, and comfort working independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional, multi-geography environment.

Good to have:

Prior experience engaging with EV OEMs, automotive fleets, or IoT platforms

Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, Salesforce) and data enrichment / prospecting tools(e.g., Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clearbit).

Awareness of email deliverability best practices (domain warm-up, SPF/DKIM/DMARC basics) and outreach compliance considerations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM) across regions, since this role's outbound engine spans UK/Europe and Asia.

Exposure to AI-driven analytics or SaaS-based platforms.

Why Join Us:

Competitive salary and benefits package.

Opportunities for professional growth and development.

Direct, visible impact on strategic accounts and global growth, this role sits at the centre of the GTM engine, not on its edge.

Learning, advancement, and leadership opportunities within a cutting-edge AI + IoT company.

Flexible work setup and autonomy in execution.
