Job Title: Red Hat OpenShift Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2
Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually
Experience Required: 6+ years

Job Summary
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade OpenShift platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Linux, automation, and CI/CD.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
Automate cluster provisioning, upgrades, and lifecycle management using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and GitOps (Argo CD).
Configure networking, storage, security, and multi-tenant OpenShift environments.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Argo CD.
Implement monitoring, logging, disaster recovery, and platform security.
Collaborate with development teams, optimize workloads, and mentor junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of container platform experience, including 3+ years with Red Hat OpenShift.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, and container networking.
Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Bash, Python, or Go scripting.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Red Hat OpenShift certification.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd), GitOps, and regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
