About the role
YOUR IMPACT - YOUR ROLEAs a Search Engine Marketing Working Student (all genders), you will support the team in managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns. You will learn how SEM works in practice, from campaign setup and management to budgeting, bidding, reporting, and performance analysis. Your work will directly contribute to acquiring new customers and achieving the team's marketing goals.
In detail, you will take on the following tasks:
Support day-to-day campaign management, optimization, and budget pacing across Google Ads search accounts.
Monitor performance metrics using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and build reporting dashboards in Looker Studio.
Maintain and analyze data sets in Excel and Google Sheets to track campaign efficiency and conversion KPIs.
Assist with A/B testing, keyword research, ad copy creation, and bidding strategy adjustments.
Gradually take ownership of defined operational tasks and campaigns to reduce team workload and bring fresh ideas into marketing strategies.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDEnrolled student in Business, Marketing, Media, Data/Analytics, Engineering, or a related field with at least 1 year of study remaining.
Strong affinity for numbers, analytical mindset, and a structured, detail-oriented way of working.
High curiosity and a proactive mindset to learn digital performance marketing, Google Ads, GA4, and Looker Studio from the ground up (no prior Google Ads experience required).
Practical familiarity with working with data in Excel or Google Sheets.
Strong team player with clear and open communication skills.
Fluent in English (C1-C2 level); good command of German is a plus.
