- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to government stakeholders
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required government clearances or background checks

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, CCM, or similar project management certification
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification
  • Prior experience with a specific federal agency (e.g., GSA, VA, DoD, Army Corps of Engineers) — *customize based on your typical contracts*
  • Experience with SF-1442, SF-30, or other standard federal construction contract documentation

- Serve as primary point of contact with federal contracting officers (COs), contracting officer's representatives (CORs), and other government stakeholders
- Manage project financials including pay applications, cost forecasting, and variance reporting
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as needed
- Ensure adherence to all applicable safety regulations (OSHA) and quality control standards on federal job sites

Team Leadership
- Directly manage and mentor a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators dedicated to federal accounts
- Assign projects and workload across the team based on capacity, expertise, and contract requirements
