About the role

We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Program Manager to serve as the primary steward for Nielsen's largest, most complex, integrated marketing campaigns. This is a strategic orchestration role for someone who thrives at the intersection of structure and ambiguity, and who can hold a complex campaign together while keeping stakeholders aligned, informed, and moving forward. In this role, you will be the campaign quarterback — the single point of accountability for integrated program delivery across the Marketing teams. You will also play a critical role in helping to design and implement a Phase Gate/Agile framework for how Nielsen manages its high-impact marketing campaigns, moving the organization from ad-hoc execution to a structured, repeatable delivery model.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Program Leadership: Owns complex, cross-functional global marketing programs from end to end. Manages roadmaps, resource allocation, and a unified master schedule that connects all team dependencies.

Operational Excellence & Process Innovation: Establishes KPIs and delivers data-driven insights. Drives continuous improvement, designs standardized marketing workflows (milestones, approval gates), and centralizes global campaign management systems to maximize efficiency.

Collaboration & Documentation: Serves as the primary bridge between senior leadership and tactical teams. Aligns diverse stakeholders through influence and maintains the "single source of truth" for all campaign briefs, budgets, and dashboards.

Problem Solving & Risk Mitigation: Applies deep marketing operations expertise to solve technical problems, anticipate bottlenecks, and proactively implement risk-mitigation strategies to ensure seamless delivery.

Experience & Education: 10–15 years in Marketing Program Management/Operations or TPM handling global campaigns. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or Human-Centered Design certification strongly preferred.

Language & Tech: Mandatory native/professional English. Highly proficient in Jira, Smartsheet, Google Suite, Looker Studio, Salesforce, and GA4.

Core Competencies:
Leadership & Autonomy: Proactive self-starter who leads cross-functional teams through influence, trust, and high accountability for end-to-end outcomes.

Business Acumen: Deep expertise in budget management, KPI establishment, and systematic problem-solving (8D methodology is a plus).

Execution under Pressure: Highly adaptable; excels at organizing chaos, navigating ambiguity, and driving execution in fast-paced environments.
