This is a remote position with a starting salary of $89,000 annually. Preference will be given to applicants residing in the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Tennessee and Virginia.
SUMMARY:
The Physician Sourcing Specialist is responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and qualifying physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) to build a strong talent pipeline across Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL). This role serves as the first point of contact for prospective candidates and partners closely with Physician Recruiters, physician leaders, and practice executives to develop sourcing strategies that support current and future hiring needs.

The Physician Sourcing Specialist utilizes innovative sourcing techniques, market research, relationship-building, and recruitment technology to generate qualified candidate pipelines while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. This position focuses primarily on front-end recruiting activities, allowing Physician Recruiters to concentrate on candidate management, interviewing, offer negotiation, and closing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline
Develop proactive sourcing strategies for physicians and APPs across multiple cardiovascular specialties.

Source candidates using Doximity, PracticeLink, PracticeMatch, LinkedIn Recruiter, professional societies, fellowship programs, referrals, conferences, networking, database searches, cold outreach, and other innovative sourcing techniques.

Build and maintain robust passive candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

Conduct physician market mapping and competitor research.

Generate consistent outbound recruiting activity to meet established sourcing KPIs.

Candidate Engagement
Conduct initial outreach to assess candidate qualifications, practice preferences, geographic interests, compensation expectations, and cultural fit.

Perform preliminary qualification interviews and transition qualified candidates to Physician Recruiters.

Build long-term relationships with passive physician candidates.

Provide an exceptional first impression of CVL throughout the recruitment process.

Recruitment Operations
Draft and post physician and APP job advertisements.

Maintain accurate candidate documentation in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and provider database.

Track sourcing metrics including outreach activity, response rates, qualified candidates, and pipeline health.

Generate recruitment reports and analytics to support leadership decision-making.

Partner with Physician Recruiters to ensure seamless candidate handoffs.

Collaboration
Partner with Recruiters to develop sourcing strategies for priority searches.

Collaborate with physician leaders and practice administrators to understand hiring priorities, practice details, and community offerings

Partner with Marketing on recruitment campaigns and employment branding initiatives.

Represent CVL at conferences, fellowship events, career fairs, and networking opportunities.

Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

2–5 years of physician recruiting, healthcare recruiting, executive sourcing, or talent acquisition experience preferred.

Experience sourcing physicians or advanced practice providers strongly preferred.

Experience with PracticeLink, PracticeMatch, Doximity, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.

Strong internet research and sourcing abilities.

Ability to engage passive physician candidates.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Data-driven mindset with experience tracking recruiting metrics.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple searches simultaneously.

Ability to travel approximately 10–20% for conferences, recruiting events, and team meetings.

Performance Expectations
Maintain active pipelines for all assigned searches.

Meet established outreach and sourcing activity goals.

Consistently deliver qualified physician candidates to recruiters.
