About the role

Why This Role Exists
Our logistics operations are growing. We currently have people managing parts of our daily dispatch and coordination workflow, and we need to expand that team. This is not a solo setup — you will be joining an existing group with established processes, clear workflows, and colleagues who know the operation inside out.
The FMCG logistics space is fast-moving, high-volume, and unforgiving when details slip. We need someone who understands that and takes ownership of making sure every order moves the way it is supposed to.
What You Will Be Doing

The majority of your day will be centred around getting orders from point A to point B — accurately, on time, and with every step properly recorded and tracked.
Book delivery timeslots with major Australian retailers through their supplier portals (Coles, Woolworths, Metcash, Aldi).

Receive orders from clients and process them end-to-end — entering details into retailer portals, generating delivery dockets and SSCC labels, and creating e-invoices.

Book 3PL carriers and transport providers via email and their own booking platforms.

Track shipments and dispatches from the warehouse through to final delivery, following up proactively when things are running late or have gone off track.

Handle customer and carrier queries via email (80%) and phone (20%) — ETAs, late deliveries, re-deliveries, and anything else that needs resolution.

Enter data accurately across multiple systems including our warehouse management system (Carton Cloud), retailer portals, and client ERP platforms.

Support inventory planning report preparation with data inputs as needed.

What We Are Looking For

Direct logistics or freight coordination experience is strongly preferred. This is not a role where you can learn logistics from scratch — you need to already understand how the supply chain moves and where it typically breaks down.
Hands-on experience in logistics coordination, freight operations, or FMCG supply chain administration — ideally in an Australian-facing environment.

Familiarity with Australian retailer supplier portals or comparable retailer compliance systems. Experience with C3 or Axis is a bonus, but any AU retail or FMCG portal background is valued.

Comfort working across multiple platforms and systems simultaneously — you adapt quickly and do not need hand-holding every time a new tool appears.

Strong attention to detail — every data entry point matters when stock is going to a Coles or Woolworths DC.

A proactive mindset — you chase things before they become problems, not after.

Confident written and verbal English communication. You will be emailing and calling Australian carriers, clients, and retailers. Phone confidence is not optional.

Ability to manage a structured daily workflow with multiple concurrent tasks and time-sensitive deadlines.

What Will Make You Stand Out

Prior experience booking deliveries into major Australian retailers (Coles, Woolworths, IGA, Aldi).

Experience with Carton Cloud, C3, Axis, or similar WMS or retailer portal platforms.

Background working across multiple FMCG brand accounts or in a 3PL environment.

A track record of resolving logistics issues independently under time pressure.
