About the role

๐Ÿš€ About Us

Atmen is a Munich-based RegTech startup revolutionising green certification. Our SaaS platform helps energy-intensive industries (fuels, chemicals, materials) automate compliance and certificationโ€”cutting down time by up to 90%.

We replace today's manual, costly, and unpredictable certification processes with continuous, technology-driven verification. Our mission? Making sustainable production simple, scalable, and cost-effective.

Atmen is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our journey as early stage technology company. As a working student/intern active in a business critical phase for the company, you will get your hands dirty analysing the renewable gas and chemicals market and industrial policy and regulation. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, is passionate about our mission, and can take ownership of their work.

Tasks

Your mission: Working closely with our commercial lead Felipe, you will turn fast-moving EU regulation on hydrogen and low-carbon fuels into clear, actionable knowledge โ€” for our team, our customers, and the wider market. Doing so, you help shape the future of technology-enabled green certification.

This role is an opportunity to translate complex EU regulation into actionable insights, engage directly with industry pioneers, and contribute to the success of our growing company. Your work will span analytical, content, and customer-facing tasks, including:

Regulatory research & analysis โ€“ Deep-dive into EU hydrogen and low-carbon fuels regulation (RFNBO rules, Low Carbon Delegated Act, RED III, certification schemes such as ISCC):

Track consultation timelines, working group materials, and industry association updates.

Attend webinars and follow the regulatory debate as it unfolds.

Synthesize findings into structured, actionable summaries and reports.

Market analysis โ€“ Get up to speed on new markets, fast:

Build a rapid understanding of new markets and segments relevant to Atmen.

Assess market attractiveness against defined criteria (e.g. regulatory certainty, market size, certification demand).

Identify and map the relevant players - producers, offtakers, certification bodies, and industry associations.

Content & thought leadership โ€“ Help simplify complexity:

Draft market update posts and regulatory explainers for Atmen's audience.

Build flowcharts, diagrams, and visuals (e.g. in Figma) that make regulation digestible.

Co-own the preparation of Atmen webinars โ€” from slide drafting to Q&A preparation and live-session support.

Knowledge base & customer support โ€“ Make regulatory expertise scalable:

Contribute precise, well-sourced answers to our regulatory Q&A knowledge base, following auditor-grade content guidelines.

Join calls with key accounts - leading energy and industrial companies - to support regulatory Q&A and capture insights.

Stakeholder engagement โ€“ Extend Atmen's regulatory network:

Draft outreach to regulatory contacts and support the preparation of expert interviews.

Review notes from industry associations and working groups to keep the team ahead of the curve.
