Project-based | Remote | Contract
Control Shift Video is looking for a freliable, detail-oriented freelance illustrator to collaborate with our core team on a variety of projects. Our work spans technology, healthcare, energy, consumer brands, and nonprofits â and weâre always looking for illustrators who can help bring complex ideas to life with clarity and style.
What Youâll Be Doing
Creating custom illustrations for video, motion graphics, web, and brand content
Collaborating with our creative team to develop visual styles, concepts, and story-driven imagery
Translating scripts, ideas, or loose concepts into clear, compelling visuals
Preparing artwork for animation, motion, or digital delivery
Iterating based on feedback while maintaining consistency and quality
What Weâre Looking For
Strong illustration skills with a clear, cohesive style (or styles)
Experience creating artwork for video, motion graphics, or digital platforms
Ability to simplify complex or technical ideas visually
Comfort working independently while collaborating with a creative team
Reliable communication, meeting deadlines, and delivering what you promise
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools
Motion or animation experience is a plus, but not required.
