About the role

At HEY HOLY, our mission is simple: help dogs live longer, healthier lives through better nutrition.

Instead of creating one-size-fits-all products, we develop breed-specific nutrition designed around the unique needs of every dog. Developed alongside veterinary experts, our products are helping thousands of dogs across Germany live healthier lives every day.

Since launching in 2022, we've grown into one of Germany's fastest-growing DTC pet nutrition brands, serving over 20,000 dogs through our subscription model.

As our Regional Sales Manager, your mission is simple: Build the highest-performing field sales team in Germany.

You'll be the bridge between leadership and our field sales team, ensuring every field sales agent has the coaching, tools, confidence and accountability needed to consistently perform at their best.

This is a hands-on leadership role that balances several things: recruiting and onboarding new team members, coaching on the ground, hosting trainings, coordinating the team day-to-day, and managing it on both a personnel and a performance level. You'll spend meaningful time out in the field alongside the team, mostly in the Frankfurt region, but just as much time building the team: developing training programmes, shaping onboarding, supporting new starters, analysing performance, and working closely with leadership to continuously raise the bar.

Success in this role isn't measured by your own sales - it's measured by the success of the people you recruit, develop, and lead.

Tasks

Further build the team: Own hiring, onboarding, and training for every field sales agent - giving them the knowledge, confidence, and skills to perform from day one

Coach on the ground: Be present where it counts, through regular stand visits, live feedback, and structured development plans that turn good agents into great ones

Drive performance: Own the numbers that matter - sales, customer experience, and retention - using data and field observations to spot trends, strengths, and where to intervene

Have the fun and the hard conversations: Hold honest performance discussions, build clear improvement plans where they're needed, and recognise and reward strong performers - always keeping the bar high

Protect the standard: Ensure the sales process, stand presentation, and brand experience stay consistently excellent across every event, and keep the team sharp with refresher trainings and workshops as we grow

Build the culture: Create a team defined by ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement - and set the tone by leading from the front whenever you're in the field

Partner with leadership: Work closely with the Head of Direct Sales and the Events Coordinator to raise performance and operational standards across the board

Requirements

Sales Experience: You bring first experience leading, coaching, or developing sales teams, ideally gained in retail or face-to-face customer acquisition - yet not a must.

Passion for Developing People: You genuinely enjoy helping others improve. You get satisfaction from seeing individuals grow into confident, high-performing sales professionals.

Performance Mindset: You understand that great coaching exists to drive measurable results. You know how to set expectations, monitor progress and improve performance through structured coaching.

Leadership Through Action: You earn credibility through your own behaviours, professionalism and standards.

Excellent Communication: Whether you're motivating a top performer or delivering difficult feedback, you're clear, honest and respectful.

Adaptability: No two events are the same. You stay calm, practical and solutions-focused when plans change or challenges arise.

Local Presence and Communication Skills: You speak fluent German (C1+) and confident English, and are happy to travel regularly across the Frankfurt region.
