About the role

About Huzzle

At Huzzle, we connect exceptional talent with top opportunities at leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Our clients include fast-growing startups and established businesses in SaaS, MarTech, FinTech, and EdTech.
Unlike traditional outsourcing, you’ll be placed directly with a client as a core member of their team—giving you real ownership, career progression, and long-term stability.
Role Type: Full-time
About the company
Our client is an FDA-registered and ISO-accredited independent contract microbiology laboratory providing critical analytical services to the pharmaceutical, medical device, and cosmetic industries. As a recognized authority in microbial testing, the team specializes in assessing product safety and efficacy through rigorous standards like ASTM, USP, and ISO. They serve a diverse global market—ranging from healthcare and food production to industrial materials—ensuring that essential consumer and medical products meet strict regulatory requirements for safety and performance.

Job Summary
We are seeking a consultative, technically-minded Account Executive to drive growth within the highly regulated life sciences sector. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex client requirements and sophisticated laboratory solutions. Rather than a transactional salesperson, we are looking for a strategic partner who can speak the language of QA/QC, Regulatory Affairs, and R&D stakeholders. This is a vital position responsible for navigating the full sales cycle—from initial scoping and technical consultation to final closing—ensuring that clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and cosmetic industries receive the precise testing services they require to bring safe products to market.
Key Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle, from lead qualification and initial discovery to proposal generation and closing.

Act as a consultative partner to technical decision-makers, including QA/QC Managers, Regulatory Affairs professionals, and R&D teams.

Translate complex client technical or regulatory requirements into actionable scopes of work in collaboration with internal technical teams.

Prepare, deliver, and negotiate detailed quotes and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).

Manage all pipeline and prospecting activity within HubSpot Sales Hub, ensuring high data integrity and accurate forecasting.

Navigate vendor qualification processes and regulated procurement workflows within the life sciences industry.

Maintain deep technical curiosity to stay ahead of industry regulations and emerging testing standards.

Build and nurture long-term relationships with manufacturing partners to ensure recurring business and account growth.

Requirements

4+ years of professional B2B sales experience.

Documented success selling complex technical or laboratory services (e.g., CRO/CDMO, contract testing, scientific instrumentation).

Proven ability to engage and influence technical stakeholders (QA/QC, Regulatory, or R&D).

Strong scientific literacy; while a microbiology background is not required, the ability to learn and articulate technical concepts is essential.

Experience managing a structured sales process within HubSpot Sales Hub.

Exceptional professional written and spoken English, with the ability to draft precise technical proposals.

Proven consultative selling skills, focusing on solution-building rather than "hunter-only" transactional tactics.

Ability to work US Central Time hours (ideally 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CT).

Nice-to-Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences field.

An existing network within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Cosmetics, or Disinfectant Manufacturing sectors.

Experience selling into Latin American manufacturing markets.

Fluency in Spanish.

Experience with MSA negotiations and high-level vendor qualification protocols.
