Automation Collaboration: Partner with Automation Test Engineers to identify manual test cases that are high-priority for automation and identify gaps in existing test coverage.

Data Integrity: Write and execute SQL queries to perform database validation and ensure backend data aligns with the front-end UI.

Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects within Jira, providing detailed logs, screenshots, and clear reproduction steps.

Task Tracking: Manage and update Work Items within Azure DevOps to ensure testing progress is transparent and aligned with sprint goals.

Technical Collaboration: Use Azure DevOps to review automation run results and maintain alignment between manual test cases and the automated suite.

Scrum Participation: Actively participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives to provide a QA perspective on upcoming features.

What You’ll Bring

Experience:3+ years of professional experience in manual software testing or QA, specifically focused on web platforms.

Agile Expertise: Proven experience working within Scrum or Kanban teams, with a solid understanding of agile ceremonies and deliverables.

Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and proficiency in writing SQL queries for data verification.

Tooling Expertise: Demonstrated expertise using Jira for the full bug-tracking lifecycle and experience managing tasks/requirements via Azure DevOps Work Items.

SDLC Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern testing methodologies (Functional, Integration, Regression, etc.).

Analytical Mindset: Sharp problem-solving skills to identify root causes and a "user-first" approach to identifying UX friction.

Nice to Haves

Infrastructure Familiarity: Basic comfort with Kubernetes (e.g., checking pod status or logs) to assist in debugging.
