About the role

About the Role
Nimble Gravity is looking for a Copilot & Power Platform Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise automation and AI-enabled solutions for our clients.
This is a client-facing consulting role where you’ll own the technical architecture end-to-end: from discovery and stakeholder workshops through build, governance, and deployment. You’ll architect Copilot Studio agents and Power Platform solutions that integrate seamlessly into Microsoft 365 environments—while ensuring the governance, security, and ALM practices needed to scale.
This role is approximately 80% client delivery, with opportunities to shape internal standards (10%) and support pre-sales solutioning (10%). You’ll collaborate with data engineers, AI specialists, and delivery leads who share a bias toward shipping high-quality work that creates real value.
What You’ll Do
Architecture & Delivery

Design and deliver end-to-end Power Platform solutions across Power Apps (Canvas + Model-driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Pages, selecting the right tools based on business goals and platform constraints.

Architect and deploy Copilot Studio agents embedded into real workflows, leveraging patterns such as RAG, prompt orchestration, grounding, and tool calling when appropriate.

Define scalable integration patterns across Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook), Azure services, and third-party systems via APIs, custom connectors, and on-premises gateways.

Establish strong ALM practices in client environments: solution packaging, managed solutions, environment strategy, deployment pipelines, and release controls.

Governance & Security

Build governance frameworks that scale: environment segmentation, tenant strategy, DLP policies, RBAC, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.

Define guardrails for responsible AI: data boundaries, access controls, privacy/compliance considerations, auditability, and monitoring.

Design identity and security architecture with Entra ID, ensuring solutions meet enterprise security requirements.

Client Leadership

Lead discovery workshops to assess current state, capture requirements, and define target architecture.

Produce clear client-ready deliverables: technical design docs, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.

Communicate tradeoffs and recommendations to both technical teams and executive sponsors, tailoring your approach to the audience.

Support pre-sales as needed: scoping, estimation, solution design, and technical demos.

Enablement

Contribute to Nimble Gravity’s internal standards: reference architectures, templates, governance playbooks, and reusable patterns.

Coach client makers and pro developers on best practices, including Center of Excellence (CoE) patterns and enterprise operating models.

What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves)

5+ years architecting and delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions in enterprise environments (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).

Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio and/or Microsoft 365 Copilot, including custom copilots/agents integrated into business processes.

Strong command of Power Platform governance: environment strategy, DLP policies, ALM, and tenant administration.

Proven experience designing integrations across Microsoft 365, Azure services, and external systems using connectors/APIs/gateways.

Experience leading client-facing consulting engagements: workshops, technical documentation, and stakeholder presentations.

Deep understanding of identity and access management with Entra ID (Azure AD).

Working knowledge of AI solution patterns relevant to Copilot implementations: RAG, prompt design, grounding, evaluation.

Excellent communication—able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences without losing precision.

Ability to travel occasionally (~10–20%).

Nice to Have

Microsoft certifications: PL-600, PL-200, PL-400, MS-600, and/or AI-related certifications.

Experience with Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Cognitive Services).

Exposure to data platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Synapse.

Familiarity with Power BI development and integration with Power Platform solutions.

Consulting background at a Microsoft Partner/SI/professional services firm.

Experience implementing CoE toolkits and enterprise-scale governance programs.

Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, FedRAMP).

Pro-code skills (C#, TypeScript, Python) to extend solutions via custom components, Azure Functions, or integrations.
