About the role

Founded in 2025, Taxforce rethinks tax advisory from the ground up: AI-powered and highly automated, yet personal. We start with the ambulatory healthcare sector, a complex and underserved segment, with the ambition to expand into many more sectors over time. Tax advisory is a €40B market in Germany alone, with processes that have barely changed in decades. AI is now enabling a fundamental shift and there are no playbooks yet. We're writing them.
We are a small, highly ambitious team in Berlin, backed by €5M from Tenet VC and founded by alumni of Goldman Sachs, Harvard Business School, Bain & Company, and the former Klarna Head of Engineering.

About the role
As Entrepreneur in Residence for the healthcare sector in our tax rollup, you will be responsible for Taxforce's core vertical, the medical sector. You will be building the best-in-class tax advisory product for the ambulatory healthcare sector and owning the business behind it. At the core, this is a product role: you'll take the pain points and needs of doctors and MVZ operators and turn them into a systematic, scalable product, built in close collaboration with our tax ops and tech teams. As the vertical matures, you'll take full ownership of the unit, including sales, P&L, and partnerships, and grow into the leader who scales it into a standalone business.
This role is built for someone who has founded a company before, or who wants to one day. You'll get founder-level scope and responsibility from day one, with the backing of an experienced team.

What you'll do
Define what a best-in-class tax advisory experience looks like for the ambulatory healthcare sector by converting the needs and pain points of doctors and MVZ operators into a systematic, scalable tax advisory product

Execute the product vision in close collaboration with our tax ops and tech teams, building AI-powered workflows that differentiate Taxforce from traditional advisors

Oversee sales for the medical vertical and own the P&L, accountable for revenue and margin targets

Build and manage partnerships with MVZ operators, medical roll-ups, and key referral networks to drive inbound deal flow

Acquire and build design customers as the foundation for developing and validating the vertical's strategy

As the unit grows, take on leadership of the entire vertical, building and leading a dedicated team across product, GTM, and operations

Report directly to the founders and contribute to company-wide strategy

Who you are
You've founded a company before, or you're building toward founding your own one day, and you want founder-level ownership now

You can translate messy, real-world customer problems into a clear, scalable product

You're comfortable owning commercial outcomes: sales, P&L, partnerships, not just the product itself

Ideally, you have existing relationships or credibility within medical practices, MVZ, or the healthcare procurement world

You want to lead. You're energized by the idea of building and eventually running a full business unit, not just contributing to one

What we offer
Gain entrepreneurial experience: build a company within a company, with full ownership of product, sales, and P&L

Work with the founders: direct access to a team with Goldman Sachs, HBS, Bain, and Klarna backgrounds

AI at the core: see how AI transforms a traditional industry, and actively shape the product

Steep learning curve: real problems, fast feedback, and the experience to lead, or start, your own venture
