About the role

About the Role
We're an early-stage consumer tech / AI company looking for a Community Operations Lead to build and own our community presence from the ground up. You'll be the central figure across the platforms where our early users live — driving engagement, shaping community culture, and turning our most passionate users into true product evangelists.
This is a zero-to-one role. You'll work directly with senior leadership to define and evolve the scope of the work as it surfaces, so you should be genuinely excited by ambiguity and the opportunity to build without a pre-written playbook.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This is an on-site position.
What You'll Do
Build and run community presence across platforms where early users are active (Discord, X, and others).

Own moderation, engagement, and day-to-day community operations end-to-end.

Resolve user conflicts and make independent judgment calls to maintain a healthy, engaged community.

Plan and coordinate community events and touchpoints — both digital and in-person (IRL).

Partner with product and research teams to leverage the community for UX research and user studies.

Collaborate with Go-to-Market (GTM) to execute coordinated campaigns with the most dedicated users.

Define operational scope and processes for community programs in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

Become a trusted, recognizable figure within the community itself.

What We're Looking For
Required
2+ years of experience in community operations or management roles.

Demonstrated track record of building or meaningfully growing an online community for a B2C or prosumer product.

Experience building community engagement strategies from scratch in early-stage environments — no established playbooks.

Hands-on experience moderating communities on platforms such as Discord and X, including conflict resolution and active engagement.

Experience partnering cross-functionally with product, research, or GTM teams to run user research or coordinated user campaigns.

Comfortable owning the full lifecycle of community events and digital touchpoints.

Operationally sharp — able to define scope and process in ambiguous, rapidly changing conditions.

Self-directed, public-facing, and willing to get hands-on with daily execution (not just strategy).

Nice to Have
Experience coordinating in-person (IRL) community events.

Multilingual capabilities for engaging with international community members.

Background in consumer technology, hardware, or AI product communities.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation details were not provided for this listing. Details will be shared during the interview process.
