About Our Clients
Our client is a fast-growing DTC brand that designs brand creating CE Level 2 certifiedprotective apparel for mountain biking, motocross, and snow sports. Their mission is to build protective gear that looks like everyday clothing while delivering serious protection when it matters most.
Creative is at the heart of the business. Rather than relying on traditional agencies, they works with creators who genuinely understand the riding community to produce authentic, high-performing advertising. The team currently launches approximately 600 UGC ads and 1,000 static ads every month, continuously testing and optimizing creative at scale.
They are looking for a Head of Creative Strategy to own the entire creative strategy pipeline—from ideation and scripting to performance analysis and creative iteration.
Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end paid creative strategy across UGC, static ads, founder-led content, VSLs, advertorials, and AI-generated video concepts.

Script hundreds of high-converting UGC advertisements each month, including hooks, angles, full scripts, and detailed shot lists for creators.

Develop clear creative briefs for designers and static ad creators, providing strategic direction on messaging, layout, and testing hypotheses.

Build, organize, and continuously expand a comprehensive hook bank categorized by audience, offer, sport, and creative angle.

Analyze Meta ad account performance to identify winning creatives, understand why they succeed, and generate scalable iterations.

Partner closely with creators, editors, designers, the CEO, and CMO to execute high-volume creative testing.

Lead creative strategy for AI-generated video initiatives and emerging advertising formats.

Translate winning paid advertising concepts into landing page and advertorial creative strategies.

Continuously improve creative performance through data-driven experimentation using metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, thumbstop ratio, CTR, and CPA.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience leading creative strategy for ecommerce brands generating $20M+ in annual revenue.

Demonstrated experience scripting hundreds of paid advertising concepts per month for direct-response campaigns.

Strong portfolio showcasing paid social ads with proven performance results.

Deep understanding of paid social creative performance metrics, including hook rate, hold rate, thumbstop ratio, CTR, CPA, and creative testing methodologies.

Strong ability to transform performance insights into scalable creative concepts and testing roadmaps.

Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills for direct-response advertising.

Experience briefing and collaborating with UGC creators, designers, editors, and cross-functional marketing teams.

Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.

Able to work with at least 5 hours of overlap with the US Pacific Time Zone.

Nice to Have

Experience developing advertorials and publisher-style creative.

Basic editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools for creating rough cuts.

Existing relationships with creators in the mountain biking, motocross, or action sports industries.

Personal interest or participation in mountain biking, motocross, snow sports, or other action sports.
