About the role

About the Role
This is the first dedicated Revenue Operations hire at a fast-scaling, Series A AI/SaaS company in the industrial procurement intelligence space. You'll partner directly with senior revenue leadership to design, build, and operate the systems that power the full revenue cycle — from outbound business development through enterprise pipeline, customer onboarding, and expansion. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and wants to shape how a company goes to market at a critical growth stage.
The company is headquartered in Munich, Germany, and is backed by leading European and global venture investors. The team is ~150 people and growing rapidly, with a strong culture of entrepreneurial thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and extreme ownership.
What You'll Do
Partner with Revenue Operations leadership and the Managing Director of Revenue to build and scale revenue systems company-wide.

Lead strategic projects that reshape the sales motion and support enterprise and international expansion initiatives.

Own and maintain the operational backbone spanning business development, AE pipeline management, customer onboarding, and expansion.

Build reporting and analytics frameworks that surface meaningful patterns and translate data into strategic decisions.

Collaborate closely with marketing, business development, account executives, customer experience, and expansion teams to identify and remove friction across the revenue cycle.

Design and implement enablement programs, AI tooling integrations, and onboarding solutions that multiply team output.

Contribute to the design of compensation and equity structures in support of revenue team growth.

What We're Looking For
Dealbreakers (must-haves):
5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations or an equivalent function building and delivering revenue processes and systems end-to-end.

Demonstrated experience operationalizing revenue processes across the full revenue cycle: outbound/BDR, AE pipeline management, customer onboarding, and expansion.

Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) — non-negotiable for this role.

Required:
Strong systems thinker who can design structures and operationalize them independently, end-to-end.

Proven track record delivering measurable revenue improvements in a high-growth or VC-backed startup environment (e.g., built from zero, rapid scaling).

Ability and willingness to be on-site in Munich 4+ days per week.

Experience working directly with senior leadership (founders, managing directors, revenue leaders) to define and execute strategy.

Hands-on experience enabling or implementing AI tooling and automation within a revenue operations context.

Track record of extreme ownership: you identify issues, build fixes, and ship without waiting for permission.

Nice to Have:
Prior founder experience or a clear entrepreneurial orientation — e.g., you've started something, backed something, or have a strong desire to do so.

Background at high-calibre consulting, enterprise software, or process intelligence firms.

Location & Work Arrangement
Location: Munich, Bavaria, Germany

Work arrangement: On-site — 4+ days per week in the Munich office is required.

Visa sponsorship: Not available — candidates must already have the right to work in Germany.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive compensation package including base salary and equity, commensurate with experience. Specific range to be discussed during the interview process.
