About the Role
As a Senior Visual Designer I, you will lead visual design strategy for a business or product line, creating engaging and user-centered experiences that solve meaningful customer problems. You will partner with cross-functional teams, leverage research and data to guide design decisions, and help shape design practices while mentoring fellow designers.
Responsibilities

Align and coach teams to ensure customer needs are met and user outcomes remain central to design decisions

Gather, evaluate, and apply customer insights and use cases to inform design strategy

Partner with UX Researchers and UX Designers to understand user needs, define product structure, and create effective visual experiences

Create original visual design assets and introduce new design patterns and style guides

Analyze briefs, identify the right problems to solve, and develop creative solutions

Collect feedback from users, stakeholders, and designers, iterating and testing solutions to improve outcomes

Use analytics, customer insights, testing results, and other data sources to establish metrics and guide future design strategy

Build strong relationships with technology teams and communicate designs effectively across platforms

Requirements

Mastery of user-centered design processes

Expert knowledge of design software such as Adobe and Sketch

Ability to create high-quality visual designs across multiple platforms

Experience collaborating with UX Researchers, UX Designers, developers, and stakeholders

Proficiency using tools that communicate designs to development teams, including InVision and Zeplin

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions

Ability to develop new ideas, improve processes, and support implementation planning

Commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and mentoring others

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $95,300 - $158,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.Base Pay Range for CO is $95,300 - $158,800. Base Pay Range for IL is $100,100 - $166,800. Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL is $104,800 - $174,700. Base Pay Range for MD is $100,100 - $166,800. Base Pay Range for NY is $104,800 - $174,700. Base Pay Range for New York City is $114,300 - $190,500. Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY is $95,300 - $158,800. Base Pay Range for OH is $90,500 - $150,900.
