What You'll do:
Define the functional and technical architecture for enterprise applications and digital solutions.
Produce clear, implementation-ready technical specifications and architectural documentation.
Ensure solutions comply with architectural standards, security requirements, quality standards, and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle
Guide and support development teams during implementation, ensuring alignment with the target architecture.
Design and review microservices-based, cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Define API strategies using REST (OpenAPI) and event-driven integrations using AsyncAPI.
Promote software engineering best practices, DevOps principles, and CI/CD processes.
Ensure solutions comply with European data protection regulations (GDPR/EUDPR) and security standards where applicable.
Review technical designs, identify architectural risks, and recommend improvements to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
Who You Are:
Experienced Application Architect with a strong background in designing scalable, cloud-native applications and microservices.
Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs (OpenAPI), and asynchronous integrations (AsyncAPI).
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures.
Able to translate business and functional requirements into implementation-ready technical specifications.
Strong understanding of software architecture principles, application security, and development best practices.
Familiar with architectural patterns such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture, CQRS, and Event Sourcing (desirable).
Knowledge of IAM, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure application design (desirable).
Experience with MongoDB, data modelling, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and GDPR/EUDPR compliance is an advantage.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide development teams and ensure successful solution delivery.
Must hold European Union citizenship, as the role supports European Union projects.
