We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on a project in the fitness industry.

Our client mission is to revolutionize the fitness industry with digital solutions in over 60 countries. And the team is building a platform that saves time, increases retention, and ultimately, helps studio and gym owners become more successful.

We are looking for someone with good communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail. 

What you will do:

Work with an energised, fun, friendly, and customer-focused cross-functional team.

Collaborate with designers, developers, product managers, and testers to transform ideas into unique, human experiences for fitness entrepreneurs.

Mentor, pair, and delegate to encourage professional and technical growth

Code! Write Predictable, Readable, Simple, and Flexible code.

Improve the scalability and performance of our platform.

Use cutting-edge Agile & Lean working methods underpinned by DevOps and CI/CD Code!

 

What you will bring:

7+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role where you can demonstrate a significant impact that your work has had on the product and/or the team.

Hands-on experience with Golang. 

Experience with Cloud (preferably AWS).

Solid understanding of the practical application of agile development methods in an Agile/Lean/Continuous Delivery environment.

Solid knowledge of Quality and Testing principles.

Comfortable learning new technologies and systems.

Desire to help and mentor others.

 

Nice to have:

Experience working with microservices.

Contributed to the professional community as a speaker, author or online contributor.

Desire to contribute to the wider community through collaboration, coaching, and mentoring of other technologists.
