About the role
ONYVEN is an early-stage AI startup from the Technical University of Munich ecosystem.
We build software for enterprise operations, focusing on supply chain, logistics and industrial workflows. We work closely with customers to understand their operations, identify opportunities for automation and turn these insights into scalable software solutions.
Tasks
As a Founding Product & Solutions Engineer, you will work across product, engineering and customer projects.
Your responsibilities include:
• Joining customer discovery sessions
• Understanding and mapping operational workflows
• Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement
• Translating customer needs into product and technical requirements
• Building and testing prototypes
• Working with APIs, structured data and AI tools
• Supporting customer pilots and implementations
• Gathering feedback and bringing customer insights into product development
• Identifying recurring patterns across customer projects
• Contributing ideas to product and company development
Requirements
We are looking for someone who combines a strong technical foundation with initiative, curiosity and customer orientation.
You should:
• Enjoy exploring unfamiliar problems and finding solutions
• Take initiative without requiring detailed instructions
• Work confidently with customers and understand their perspective
• Ask thoughtful questions and challenge assumptions constructively
• Share ideas early, test them and improve them with the team
• Learn new industries and processes quickly
• Take responsibility from problem definition through implementation
Experience with Python, APIs, SQL, structured data, AI applications or workflow automation is helpful.
Relevant academic fields include Computer Science, Information Systems, Management and Technology, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data, AI or a related technical discipline.
Experience with enterprise software, SAP or ERP systems, supply chain, logistics or industrial environments is an advantage.
Strong English skills are required. German skills are an advantage.
