About the role

Job Title: Business Development Manager (K-12 Furniture- KS, MO, AR)Location: REMOTE (Must reside in KS, MO, AR)

Reports To: VP of Sales

Primary duties will include:

Develop and maintain: Our network of dealers which include existing partners; relationships with our client base of architects and interior designer’s local level; our network of end user clients & project portfolio for K-12 Furniture Sales.

Complete sales quotes and freight quotes in our system

Conduct face-to-face, needs-based consultative selling to aid customer in achieving business goals using MooreCo, Inc products and solutions to grow revenue within as-signed geographic territory with a focus on target accounts.

Drive results through a comprehensive understanding and knowledge base of competitor strengths, weaknesses and opportunities that allows for balanced growth across all product categories.

Develop multi-level relationships with accounts to promote, market, and sell MooreCo, Inc. brands to existing and potential customers within assigned territory

Own the end-to-end customer relationship experience, from providing customer solutions, problem solving, to follow-up.

Make customer satisfaction a priority through an understanding of the fulfillment process and programs. Continuously improve capabilities by upgrading skills and product knowledge.

Uncover new leads by leveraging an understanding of market conditions and trends.

Communicate and report weekly with Director of Educational and Industrial Sales Manager on territory, account and related plans and information

•Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must have relevant sales experience in the K-12 furniture industry with strong understanding of the principles of sales

Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships

Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in achieving sales quotas

Outstanding selling, communication, and negotiation skills

Prioritizing, organizational, and time management skills through relationship management and openness to feedback

Preferred education:

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required.

We will consider additional experience in lieu of degree.

The essential physical & environmental requirements of the position are:

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. without assistance.

Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer and perform repetitive tasks.

Ability to hear sounds and differentiate between them.

Ability to visually understand distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and have color vision.
