About the role

BETER is an international product group of companies operating in the B2B segment, specializing in fast sports and esports tournaments and technological solutions for their distribution.

BETER is the exclusive rights holder of tournament products, broadcasting rights, and official data, and ensures their organization through professional tournament operators, including Setka Cup and ESportsBattle, which conduct official sports and esports events in accordance with established standards and under the auspices of relevant federations and regulatory requirements.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the highest quality of our sports analytics platform. If you enjoy digging into complex systems, designing and executing detailed test scenarios, and working closely with developers and product teams to deliver stable, high-performing releases - this role is for you. You’ll have the opportunity to influence testing processes, improve automation coverage, and contribute to building a reliable, data-driven product used by thousands of users.

Technology stack we work with: Microservice architecture, .NET 8+, MS Orleans, MongoDB, Apache Kafka, SignalR/WebSocket, k8s, AWS

Responsibilities:

Analyze business and technical requirements and ensure their testability.

Create and maintain test cases, checklists, test plans, and test documentation.

Perform functional, regression, smoke, and non-functional testing.

Test browser-based SPA applications and APIs.

Validate microservice integrations, including REST, Kafka and WebSocket/SignalR communication.

Report and track defects in Jira.

Prepare test summary reports before releases.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, product and other team members.

Contribute to UI/API test automation where applicable.

Requirements:

3+ years of Manual QA experience.

Experience testing .NET/React applications and microservice architectures.

Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC and testing methodologies.

Strong web and API testing skills.

Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.

Good understanding of HTTP, cookies, local storage, HTML/CSS.

Strong Chrome DevTools skills and experience with traffic inspection tools.

Experience with WebSocket/SignalR testing.

Experience with NoSQL databases and basic SQL.

Experience with Jira/YouTrack or similar systems.

English: Intermediate (B1+) or higher.
