Our Team IT Operations keeps our entire ecosystem running smoothly and takes care of our internal infrastructure that powers our daily operations.

To support our growing team, we are looking for a motivated Working Student IT Operations (w/m/x/d) to join us in Berlin. In this role, you won’t just be sitting on the sidelines; you will be the reliable first point of contact for all IT-related questions across the company. Working closely with our experienced engineers, you’ll get hands-on experience with modern cloud tools and IT infrastructure while helping to keep the MILES team up, running, and fully connected.

Please note: This position is fully onsite.

Your Responsibility

First-Line Support: Handle incoming IT support tickets and resolve hardware or software issues efficiently to minimize downtime for our team.

User Lifecycle: Support our onboarding and offboarding processes by setting up accounts, managing digital access, and preparing hardware for new MILES employees.

Documentation: Maintain and continuously improve our internal IT documentation and knowledge base to keep our processes transparent and clean.

Daily Operations: Assist the core IT team with day-to-day operations, system maintenance, and small-scale infrastructure projects.

Team Assistance: Act as a helpful and reliable go-to person for all everyday IT questions across various departments.

Your Experience

Education: You are currently enrolled in a university degree program in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.

Tech Fundamentals: You bring a solid understanding of IT basics, including operating systems (macOS & Windows), hardware troubleshooting, and basic networking concepts.

Mindset: You are highly organized, reliable, and approach problems with a structured and proactive attitude.

People Skills: You actually enjoy working with people, not just machines. Clear, empathetic, and patient communication is natural to you.

Bonus Points: Initial experience with modern IT administration tools, MDM solutions, or ticketing systems is a distinct plus.

Languages: Fluent English skills are required; German is a major advantage since you will be supporting our local team.
