About the role

We’re looking for an experienced regional sales leader who combines strategic thinking with a strong hands-on approach — someone with a proven track record in scaling revenue in high-growth environments, preferably in cybersecurity or software, who can lead and develop a regional sales team, drive new business and expansion, build and manage a strong pipeline, work closely with channel partners, and ensure disciplined sales execution to consistently deliver predictable growth and exceed revenue targets. If you feel energized by fast pace, big ambitions and want to build something meaningful in the security domain — you’ll find a strong fit at Exeon Analytics.
The Sales Director DACH will play a key leadership role in developing and executing the regional sales strategy to accelerate growth and expand our presence across the Enterprise Market and Mid-Market segments in the DACH region. This role requires a strong understanding of complex enterprise sales and procurement processes, excellent relationship building skills, and the ability to translate strategy into consistent sales execution. You will lead and develop a team of sales professionals while driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and increase market share across the region.
As a DACH Sales Director of Sales, you will be a core member of our Commercial Leadership Team and thus closely collaborate with the Channel and Marketing teams. You will contribute to and execute the go-to-market & revenue growth strategy for Exeon Analytics in the DACH region and work closely with leadership.
This is a high-impact role: your hunter attitude (creating win-win situations with our customers, activate networks, develop relationships) paired with methodological discipline (process, metrics, playbooks) plus your hunger to roll up sleeves, build pipeline, and drive predictable revenue growth will enable success.

Key responsibilities:
Build, manage and coach a high-performing team in the DACH region: direct reports include enterprise and mid-market account executives. Cultivate performance-driven sales culture: high drive, accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, hands-on execution.

Forecast revenue, manage pipeline health, report to the Chief Revenue Officer; deliver against growth targets and scale-up metrics (CAC, sales cycle length, renewal/expansion).

Own full sales cycle for key target accounts in the region: personally engage in large enterprise / strategic deals, drive negotiations, close major contracts.

Apply sales methodologies and process, build sales-enablement and data-driven insights: value-maps, customer case-studies, competitive positioning; use analytics to optimise win-rates, conversion, sales velocity.

Opportunity management and development: support the regional sales team in driving complex sales opportunities from qualification through close, navigating procurement processes including RFPs and RFQs while effectively managing key stakeholders and commercial requirements.

Contract negotiation and execution: lead commercial and contract negotiations in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely execution and a seamless transition from deal closure to customer onboarding.

Collaborate cross-functionally: work with marketing (account-based marketing), channel (System Integrators, VAD, Resellers, MSSPs) and product (feedback & positioning).

Actively support major and strategic deals through negotiation and closing, while building and maintaining strong relationships with sales leaders across our key regional partners.

Stay abreast of cybersecurity & security analytics market trends, competitor landscape, regulatory/compliance drivers (e.g., NIS2, DORA) and use this knowledge to refine sales approach.

What makes a good person-job-fit:
We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who’s comfortable in a high-paced scale-up environment and who shares our values. In addition, we are looking for certain requirements and skills to establish a good person-job-fit:
Minimum 8 years in B2B enterprise software sales (preferably cybersecurity platform) with proven track record of scaling revenue throughout different growth phases, ideally scale-up experience.

Experience in leading and building sales teams with hiring, training, mentoring and performance management. You build trust, coach your team, but also hold them accountable.

Strong personal network of relevant enterprise customers, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders across the DACH market.

Strong methodological sales orientation: experience implementing structured sales frameworks (MEDDPICC), setting KPIs, establishing process discipline and metrics.

Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities, experienced in developing and executing complex sales strategies, contract negotiation, and operational leadership.

Hands-on mentality: comfortable personally selling major deals, rolling up sleeves in a scale-up context.

Ability to work cross-functionally and influence peers, leaders and external partners.

High energy, resilience and competitive drive: you get motivated by growth, targets, building something meaningful.
