About the role

Here at The Exploration Company, we are building innovative aerospace technologies that advance the future of space transportation.
We want you as a talented Radiation Test and Automation Engineer to help us in our mission by participating in the qualification of the electronic parts that will compose our Nyx Avionics system.

Key Responsibilities
In your capacity as a Radiation Test and Automation Engineer, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:
Assembly of radiation test PCBs for components to be tested

Test of the assembled PCBs and debugging of circuits in the laboratory

Soldering and adapting of parts if needed

Automation of radiation test setups and test report generation

Attending the radiation test campaign at the particle accelerator facility, if required

Understanding the effects of radiation to electronic circuits and create comprehensive test reports

What we would love to see from you
In the role of Radiation Test and Automation Engineer ideally, you have collected some experience with the following:
A masters/bachelor's degree in electronic science or engineering / Physics / embedded systems design

Hands-on soldering and debugging experience of electronics circuits

Basic knowledge of verification and validation of avionics and embedded software

Experience with Python for test automation and control of devices and data visualization

Digital and Analog Electronic Design Knowledge

Experience with Altium Designer and LTSPICE or comparable software solutions is a plus

Basic understanding of space avionics is a plus
