What QA Engineers Usually Work On
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of released and in-development games across web and mobile devices.
Typical responsibilities include:
Developing test plans, detailed test cases, and structured QA checklists.
Testing games on multiple web and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
Performing performance and compatibility tests across various devices and resolutions.
Validating UI layouts and responsiveness for multiple screen sizes.
Testing analytics and tracking systems (ads, events, and user analytics).
Verifying in-app purchase functionality and financial flows (buy, deposit/withdraw).
Checking localization packages for correct region-based display.
Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using standard QA workflows.
Conducting regression tests after updates or hotfixes.
Preparing QA reports and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
Tools & Tech Commonly in Use
QA specialists in our network typically work with tools and systems such as:
BrowserStack, Postman, Chrome DevTools, Embrace, Sentry, Grafana, and mobile device logs.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slack, Miro, and Google Meet is highly valued.
What We’re Looking For in Talent Pool Candidates
✅ 1+ years of manual testing experience in web and/or mobile games (casual or slots)
✅ Proven experience with released slot or mobile casual projects
✅ Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and approaches (exploratory, regression, performance, smoke)
✅ Hands-on experience creating and executing test cases and checklists
✅ Practical skills testing on iOS and Android, including logs, crash dumps, and screenshots
✅ Confidence using Chrome Development Console and connecting mobile devices to Chrome
✅ Good written and spoken English (Intermediate+) for daily team communication
Nice to Have
API testing experience using Postman
Cloud testing systems experience (e.g., BrowserStack)
Understanding of analytics and crash-reporting tools (e.g., Embrace, Sentry, Firebase)
Experience with automation basics or scripting for test optimization

Typical Work Conditions
Fully remote format, with flexible 8-hour workdays (approx. 10 AM – 7 PM)

Testing devices provided for full-time roles
Probation period: around 3 months

Typical Hiring Process
Introductory call with RecruitPro or the client’s team (~30–45 minutes)
Practical test task – creating a QA document for a build containing bugs
Technical interview with the development or QA lead
