About Out Summer Internship Program
Our Summer Internship Program is designed for students entering their final year of university who are eager to gain meaningful, real-world experience in a fast paced, collaborative, and professional environment.
As a Summer Intern, you'll participate in a comprehensive onboarding experience led by our University Relations team to set you up for success from day one. Throughout the program, you'll also have the opportunity to participate in weekly professional development sessions, networking events, social activities, and other engaging experienced designed to support your personal and professional growth.
The program takes place from June – August 2027 (10-week program).
Role Responsibilities
Design, develop and test features related to Kasten by Veeam's product K10 in the area of cloud native backup and disaster recovery
Preparation of design documents and use them to conduct design reviews with the team
Preparation of test plans for testing features and present the test plan to the team
Design and development of CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous deployment) test pipelines meant for testing features.
Qualifications
Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Interest in developing, testing, and debugging production-quality, scalable, multithreaded, concurrent systems
Interest in distributed systems, concepts and client-server architectures
Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, and concurrency)
You are passionate about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation
You are impact and result-driven
Nice To Have
Interest in developing in Go
Interest in databases and/or storage systems - especially in the public cloud
Interest in developing for and on containers, container scheduler, and orchestration platforms
Interest in participating and contributing to open source

The pay range posted is an hourly rate of base pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$40 - $50 USD
