About the opportunity
CloudFactory is looking for participants to support a short-term transaction validation project that we are administering on behalf of a global payments processing company.
The project is designed to help evaluate the accuracy of how payment transactions are matched to individuals.
As a participant, you'll review a set of recent payment transactions and indicate whether or not you recognize each transaction as one you made yourself.
How it works
If selected for the project:

You'll provide the email address(es) you use with selected merchants, subscriptions, apps, or online accounts.

Our payments processing client will use those email address(es) to identify payment transactions it believes are associated with you and securely provide a list of those transactions for the project.

You'll be presented with approximately 50 recent transactions from the last 3 months through the designated project platform. The information shown may include details such as the merchant name, date, amount, payment method, card identifier, and card issuer to help you recognize each transaction.

You'll indicate whether or not you recognize each transaction as one you made yourself and, where helpful, add a short note.

The activity is expected to take approximately 1–2 hours.
You will not be asked to provide or upload your own transaction history, bank statements, full card number, online banking login credentials, banking password, PIN, or CVV.
Please note that this is a data validation activity only.
Requirements
To participate, you must:

Be 18 years of age or older.

Currently reside in Germany.

Be an active debit and/or credit card user.

Have made purchases or payments within the last three months across a variety of merchants and services included in our eligibility questionnaire.

Be able to recognize your own recent purchases and transactions.

Have access to the email address(es) you use with the merchants and services included in our eligibility questionnaire.

Be comfortable providing those email address(es) if selected for the project.

Be willing to review approximately 50 transactions and confirm whether or not you recognize them as your own.

Privacy and consent
Because this project involves personal and financial transaction information, privacy and informed consent are essential.
Before participating, you'll receive our Participant Consent & Confidentiality Terms, which explain how your personal information and transaction data will be used and processed as part of the project.
If you qualify and provide your consent, relevant payment transactions will be securely provided to CloudFactory by the end-customer and made available to you through the designated project platform for validation.
You may withdraw your consent and participation in accordance with the terms provided to you before the project begins.
Interested? Complete our short eligibility questionnaire to be considered for this paid project.
