About the role
Prospecting for ground-mounted solar projects (including shading), with a constant focus on local consultation and the economic viability of projects. As a key contact for the various local players involved in the siting of renewable energy plants (landowners (public or private), elected representatives and local authorities, government departments, local residents, design offices, contractors, etc.), coordinate and supervise all actions prior to the siting of solar power plants.
Identify available land for the development of new solar photovoltaic and agrivoltaic ("agriPV") projects (ground-mounted power plants) using your network and the cartographic atlas provided
Develop institutional and commercial relations with networks of contacts likely to bring new opportunities (elected representatives, administrations, associations, agencies, private individuals, etc.)
A good knowledge of the local environment is required
Pre-feasibility analysis (administrative, environmental, urban planning, technical, etc.) of projects, in coordination with the technical and financial teams based in Lyon, this includes obtaining the information required for this analysis (technical constraints, easements to be respected for park construction, land valuation, etc.)
Negotiate with landowners to secure the land (signing a lease, purchase option, etc.)
Design economically viable projects within the framework of procedures and regulations, in consultation with local players
Maintain an active watch to identify new sites, identify invitations to tender and calls for projects in terms of prospecting, work with business introducers
Participate in the preparation and drafting of responses adapted to the context, defend them in order to be selected and organize the company's positioning with a view to enriching the project portfolio
Report on activity via the monthly activity report and monitoring tools
Steer the project scope with a high degree of autonomy within the framework of defined objectives and take on the role of referent under the responsibilitý of your branch manager
Technical or commercial training (Bac +4)
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in identifying photovoltaic/wind energy sites, real estate sector
Excellent knowledge of town-planning regulations and ability to quickly analyse the potential of a plot of land in order to study the feasibility of an operation from a technical and administrative point of view
Autonomy, proactivity, responsibility and good interpersonal skills
Good communicator, able to understand and convince various audiences
Passionate about new energies, you have good technical knowledge and master the administrative procedures required for the success of industrial projects (private or public sector)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience in negotiation
Ability to analyse and summarize
Ability to mobilize teams from different departments and external service providers around a single project
A high degree of autonomy in day-to-day work, initiative and thoroughness
Ability to manage opposition and conflict situations
Mobility and willingness to travel
Willingness to work from home
Fluency in English is a plus
