About the role

We are the tech powerhouse building products at the intersection of gaming, entertainment, and technology. We think fast, take ownership, and we are not afraid to try things that haven't been done before because our products are exactly that: first on the market, built by people who prefer to challenge the status quo rather than follow a trend.
Founded in Malta in 2018, we’ve grown into a global, remote-first team across more than 30 countries.
In a nutshell
The Legal Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Legal and Compliance function. This role helps ensure that legal documents, KYC requests, data protection matters, departmental records and key deadlines are managed accurately and efficiently. By working closely with Legal, Compliance and teams across the business, you will maintain organised records, coordinate information requests and support the timely delivery of legal and compliance activities.
What you’ll do:
Legal Administration and Contract Management

Upload approved contracts to electronic signature platforms and monitor outstanding signatures.

Maintain the legal contract repository across Summize and Google Drive.

Ensure documents are filed correctly and follow agreed naming conventions.

Record key contract dates, including renewals, notice periods and termination deadlines.

Prepare standard NDAs using pre-approved templates.

Proofread legal documents for formatting issues, typographical errors and incorrect cross-references.

Gather relevant information for legal and player-related matters, including transaction histories, chat logs and account records.

Liaise with Customer Support, Fraud, Risk and other internal teams to prepare clear case summaries for the Legal team.

Process invoices from external legal advisers, coordinate internal approvals and track payments with Finance.

KYC and Due Diligence Support

Collect, organise and maintain corporate documentation for group companies.

Monitor document expiry dates and proactively request updated documents from corporate service providers and other relevant parties.

Maintain a central repository of approved KYC information and standard responses.

Conduct preliminary reviews of KYC documents, applications and questionnaires for accuracy and completeness.

Assist with standard due diligence questionnaires using pre-approved information.

Prepare KYC packs and supporting documentation for submission to banks, payment providers, commercial partners and other third parties.

Monitor the KYC inbox, route requests to the appropriate stakeholders and follow up on outstanding information.

Track submission deadlines and the status of ongoing KYC requests and periodic reviews.

Conduct basic corporate registry searches and gather publicly available company information.

Coordinate with Finance, Payments and other teams to obtain information required for KYC submissions.

Escalate complex, unusual or potentially high-risk requests to the appropriate Legal or Compliance lead.

Data Protection Support

Monitor the privacy inbox and acknowledge incoming requests.

Route data protection enquiries to the appropriate internal stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records of privacy-related requests and their status.

Run and monitor existing n8n workflows used to support data protection administration.

Escalate sensitive or complex matters to the Data Protection Officer or Legal team.

Trackers and Deadlines

Maintain calendars and reminders for contract renewals, notice periods, regulatory filings, third-party meetings and other key deadlines.

Keep the complaints tracker accurate and up to date.

Compile clear summaries of player complaints and relevant case histories.

Maintain the dispute-resolution tracker and record updates, actions, and deadlines for active matters.

Follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure actions are completed on time.

Requirements
At least one year of experience in a legal, compliance, company administration, or similar support role within the iGaming industry.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent attention to detail and a consistently accurate approach to record-keeping.

Ability to manage multiple requests, priorities and deadlines.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Confidence working with stakeholders across different teams.

Sound judgement when handling confidential, commercially sensitive and personal information.

Proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Google Drive, Docs and Sheets.

A proactive approach, with the confidence to follow up on outstanding actions and escalate issues when required.

How we work?
The work here is flexible, and freedom is real, but so is responsibility. You'll work on exciting, innovative products, build from scratch, and see the real impact of what you create.
You'll work alongside highly skilled people and grow your expertise through genuine autonomy (the kind that means you're trusted). Once a year, we travel together as a team somewhere out of the ordinary and take a break from Slack and async chats.
From day one, we'll set you up properly with a home office budget tailored to what you need, and we'll keep supporting you as you grow in your role.
